In Rice Saga

Friends and family, thank you so much for the kind words on my birthday! I really appreciate the well wishes. I love you all very much for the wonderful feelings you gave me on my special day and made it the most memorable birthday of my life!

The saga continues!
Everyone! Do you remember my Baskin Robins Story! Well here is part
two! The next day, the elders call us saying they ran into a mother
that is interested in meeting with us.

Then on Wednesday the daughter, 光 (light), came to Eikaiwa! We were
excited to have more younger students. During the lesson we found out
that she is みなみちゃん(south)’s sister! The girl we met at Baskin Robins!
Anyways we had a great time talking to her at eikaiwa!

Part three of the saga. Then I think it was Thursday. We prepared to
leave the house, and I just felt like our previous plan wasn’t right
for the day. Luckily my companion agreed to follow. So we made new
plans to go housing around the church. And follow up at a house where
we briefly taught the Plan of Salvation. While housing we were able to
teach three lessons.

Wile continuing throughout the day I really felt guided where to go.
And the while housing we read the family name , 田中 (Tanaka)! I knew right away
that was the house! ( in Japan everyone has the name 田中it is like the
name Smith in America). But I knew that was the house!

We rang the door bell and there was our friend みなみちゃん!

Anyways, if you are obedient you will see miracles. You need an single
to the glory of God, and a perfect brightness of hope. You will see
miracles. The even better thing is being someone else’s miracle!

I suggest for you to read all the verses, but I’ll take the time to
comment on some of the verses.

Moroni 7:1-48
An invitation is given to enter into the rest of the Lord–Pray with
real intent–The Spirit of Christ enables men to know good from
evil–Satan persuades men to deny Christ and do evil–The prophets
manifest the coming of Christ–By faith, miracles are wrought and
angels minister–Men should hope for eternal life and cleave unto
charity. About A.D. 401421.
Do you want to enter into the rest of The Lord? What do
prophets teach

1 And now I, Moroni, write a few of the words of my father Mormon,
which he spake concerning faith, hope, and charity; for after this
manner did he speak unto the people, as he taught them in the
synagogue which they had built for the place of worship.
The gospel has three main messages: Faith, Hope, and Charity.
The first lesson we teach is the Restoration of the gospel. I love
hearing Joseph Smith’s account of the first vision. To me the message
is not only that he saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, but it is
also that we can get answers to our prayers. We will not always have
such a glorious answer like his, but I know we will get answers.
The second is Hope, We teach God’s Plan of Salvation or
Happiness. I know that God prepared this Plan before this earth was
created. It is perfect. There are no flaws. We are children of God,
and he wants us to return home to him.
The last is Charity. Christ is Charity. He is the center of
the gospel. It is through Jesus Christ that we can become worthy to
return to our Heavenly Father. Only through him. He is full of love.

2 And now I, Mormon, speak unto you, my beloved brethren; and it is by
the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, and his holy
will, because of the gift of his calling unto me, that I am permitted
to speak unto you at this time.
First of all, this person named Mormon was called as a
prophet, and because His calling he has the authority to speak unto
the people. When he wrote this book in ancient times not every one had
a copy of the book like we have now today. He was writing this book
for the benefit of our lives!

5 For I remember the word of God which saith by their works ye shall
know them; for if their works be good, then they are good also.
Ye shall know them by their works. In my area we’ve been
trying to do more service. So we signed up at city hall as volunteers.
They directed us to go to a volunteer center, where we put our names
on the list. After two and a half months, we got a phone call! A lady
who met the missionaries when she was 20( now she is 50ish) remembered
how diligent and obedient those missionaries were and when she called
asking the volunteer center for help, they mentioned The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints’ missionaries are available to help.
When she heard that, she pleaded to have us come because she
remembered their good works. Do our daily actions lead others to
come unto Christ?

12 Wherefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which
is evil cometh of the devil; for the devil is an enemy unto God, and
fighteth against him continually, and inviteth and enticeth to sin,
and to do that which is evil continually.

13 But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good
continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do
good, and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God.
I love this verse. Everything that is good is from God.

14 Wherefore, take heed, my beloved brethren, that ye do not judge
that which is evil to be of God, or that which is good and of God to
be of the devil.

15 For behold, my brethren, it is given unto you to judge, that ye may
know good from evil; and the way to judge is as plain, that ye may
know with a perfect knowledge, as the daylight is from the dark night.

16 For behold, the Spirit of Christ is given to every man, that he may
know good from evil; wherefore, I show unto you the way to judge; for
every thing which inviteth to do good, and to persuade to believe in
Christ, is sent forth by the power and gift of Christ; wherefore ye
may know with a perfect knowledge it is of God.

17 But whatsoever thing persuadeth men to do evil, and believe not in
Christ, and deny him, and serve not God, then ye may know with a
perfect knowledge it is of the devil; for after this manner doth the
devil work, for he persuadeth no man to do good, no, not one; neither
do his angels; neither do they who subject themselves unto him.

18 And now, my brethren, seeing that ye know the light by which ye may
judge, which light is the light of Christ, see that ye do not judge
wrongfully; for with that same judgment which ye judge ye shall also
be judged.

19 Wherefore, I beseech of you, brethren, that ye should search
diligently in the light of Christ that ye may know good from evil; and
if ye will lay hold upon every good thing, and condemn it not, ye
certainly will be a child of Christ.
The only way to learn this message for yourself, is to search
the scriptures diligently. Ask God in prayer in the name of Jesus
Christ if these things are not true. I can promise you that through
the Spirit, you will get a confirmation that these teachings are true.
Every person is different and the spirit testifies to everyone in
different ways. To some it is a feeling, to others a fleeting thought,
some a desire to learn more, usually through thoughts, feelings, and
Galatians 5:22-23 ” the first of the Spirit is love, joy,
peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness [ and]

The spirit will come as a quiet assurance, if you don’t take
the time to ponder and pray you may not even notice it.

48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the
energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath
bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ;
that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall
be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this
hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.
