I just realized that this week is Thanksgiving Week, Happy Thanksgiving! I just wanted to give a quick shout out to the Miller, thank you for your letter, I just received it!
This week was pretty great. The senior couple that work in the mission office are going to go home soon so we are a little sad to see them leave. They have touched our hearts so much. Since they work in the office, they don’t go and proselyte, but they made such a big change. They are so selfless and always serving. Sister Yamashita is like the perfect Relief Society President always caring for others. She and her husband have left such an impact on the ward and all of the missionaries in the mission. I really want to encourage the semapi couples to consider going on a mission. Your strong testimonies will help missionaries convert themselves so that they can turn around and share the gospel!
The other day while I was on a train, someone asked me why I am here in Japan so I was reflecting that. At first I decided to come on a mission because I knew I was supposed to go and I was so excited. Now after reflecting more I know it is because I have learned for myself that what I am teaching is true. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. That families are meant to be forever. That God loves us and cares so much to have made and follow through with a Plan of Happiness. It would be so selfish of me to just be happy by myself; learning and apply the gospel in your life makes you want to share it. So everybody this week to show your gratefulness for the gospel, please share it with one person, in word, action, or deed. Love you!
