You will never guess my transfer call! I am companions with Sister Gappmayer and Sister Padelsky! We are all kind of old missionaries it will be so much fun.
Sorry I really don’t know what to write today! We had a great Mochitsuki tai kai today, many people came. Our investigator Moeka’s family came and we all had a great time!
This week I was a bit sick, but it was still a good week. Our investigator, Akiko, was out of town but we were able to have phone calls with her. She loves the Book of Mormon and she is slowly progressing.
I was reading in Mormon 7 trying to find a scripture about happiness and found this.
5 Know ye that ye must come to the knowledge of your fathers, and repent of all your sins and iniquities, and believe in Jesus Christ, that he is the Son of God, and that he was slain by the Jews, and by the power of the Father he hath risen again, whereby he hath gained the victory over the grave; and also in him is the sting of death swallowed up.
Learning of Christ and changing your life is one of the best things you can do to be happy. You repent of your sins and take on a new life of serving others. Through Christ’s invite atonement we can have true happiness.
6 And he bringeth to pass the resurrection of the dead, whereby man must be raised to stand before his judgment-seat.
7 And he hath brought to pass the redemption of the world, whereby he that is found guiltless before him at the judgment day hath it given unto him to dwell in the presence of God in his kingdom, to sing ceaseless praises with the choirs above, unto the Father, and unto the Son, and unto the Holy Ghost, which are one God, in a state of happiness which hath no end.
When reading this verse I pondered about how we must have happiness in this life to have happiness in the next life. The best thing to do is come unto Christ. What can you do today to become a little closer to Christ?
